We’re excited to announce our new overall 5-Star views within SimpleAnalyzer™. The new visual analytics give you a top-level view of the 5-Star ratings for all the individual facilities in your organization.
The data, which comes directly from CMS, provides a historically accurate picture of how 5-Star ratings have changed over time at each facility. The color-coded format makes it easy to understand trends and predict how 5-star ratings might change over time across your organization.
Within the views, you can drill down to look at single facilities or groups of facilities, with data segmented by month or year. Information is broken down by Survey, Staffing and Quality Measures (QM) ratings as well. Historical data allows you to look back over multiple years to compare trends between facilities.
With the new views, you can:
- View overall 5-Star changes in a color-coded format
- See trends as they develop over time
- Drill down by individual facility, or group of facilities
- Look at historical 5-Star data by month/year
- See individual facility changes by quarter

Note: You may notice in the video that data for May 2016 is not yet included. This is because CMS has not yet published historical data for May. We will be updating the data to include May as soon as it is available from CMS.
