CMS posted the DRAFT version of the new 2020 MDS item sets (v1.18.0), which will go into effect Oct. 1, 2020. The DRAFT comprehensive assessment is 61 pages long with 10 new pages of material to uncover. A veteran of long-term care, Joel began his career as an MDS coordinator and worked for many years as the Director of Clinical Reimbursement and RAI for a group of nursing facilities in Tennessee and Kentucky.
