CoreQ: The future of SNF resident and family satisfaction surveys
Did you know CoreQ satisfaction surveys may soon affect your Five-Star rating?
Beginning soon, the CoreQ resident and family satisfaction survey will likely become the standard satisfaction tool for all skilled nursing facilities. Industry organizations like AHCA/NCAL are already promoting it as the most useful way to standardize customer satisfaction data across all long-term and post-acute care providers.
The CoreQ, which consists of three questions for long-stay residents/family members and four for short-stay, has been independently tested as a valid and reliable measure of customer satisfaction. Once CoreQ becomes our industry standard, the data it provides may be incorporated by CMS into SNF Five-Star ratings.
