Software acquisition simplifies PBJ compliance for skilled nursing providers and expands Briggs’ post-acute digital offerings
WEST DES MOINES, IOWA, Aug. 1, 2018 – Today Briggs Healthcare announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ezPBJ. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Briggs, ezPBJ will continue to expand its software solutions for Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) reporting and compliance for the skilled nursing market.
Based in Rochester, New York, ezPBJ creates software to simplify and automate PBJ reporting to CMS. Hundreds of skilled nursing facilities use ezPBJ to assemble, validate and submit quarterly PBJ reports, as well as benchmark Five-Star staffing ratings and prepare for audits. The company was the first to provide a comprehensive PBJ solution for skilled nursing facilities in response to new 2016 regulations.
