On Oct. 12, CMS released a new 32-page Q&A document as a follow-up to their June 21-22 SNF QRP in-person training. CMS also confirmed and clarified that the new SNF PPS Discharge Assessment is to be completed for both planned and unplanned discharges. The two examples shown in the RAI manual related to unplanned discharges are incorrect and CMS will be updating those.
