Below is a repost of a Briggs article written by Mary Madison, RN, RAC-CT, CDP, Clinical Consultant, Briggs Healthcare.
I know it’s a hectic time for you and your colleagues these days! In case you missed it, all Medicare certified SNF/LTC facilities are required to start submitting COVID-19 data to CMS via the NHSN portal beginning this Friday, May 8th. This blog will help you catch up.
NHSN (National Healthcare Safety Network – CDC) is hosting two (2) Office Hours sessions this week. Both sessions have limited space and are being conducted using the Zoom platform. I believe Zoom has only 3,000 virtual seats so please register ahead of time. The sessions on May 6th & 7th are specific to enrollment questions and module completion. The sessions on the 12th & 14th appear to be open to any questions including data groups, etc.
