CEUs

The Symposium offers two types of Continuing Education credit:

Continuing education credits for Nursing will be provided for attendees of the Symposium for up to 16.5 CEUs. Total CEUs received by the attendee will depend on sessions attended. Selman-Holman & Associates is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This program has been approved for Continuing Education for 10.5 total participant hours by NAB/NCERS — Program Approval Code: 20220912-16.50-A76804-DL. Attendees seeking Administrator CEUs will need their National Association of Boards of Long-Term Care Administrators (NAB) Registry ID to receive Symposium CEUs. Total CEUs received will depend on sessions attended.

IMPORTANT: Read the following information carefully to understand the CEU process and how to receive your CEU certificates.

Nurses can earn up to 16.5 CEUs during the event. The number of CEUs you receive depends on how many sessions you attend, and whether you attend only live sessions, or a combination of live/recorded sessions. Because the Symposium offers two simultaneous education tracks, you won't be able to attend ALL symposium sessions live.

Attending live sessions only

• Because the Symposium offers two simultaneous education tracks, it won't be possible to attend ALL sessions live during the live event.
• If you attend live sessions only, you can earn up to 10.5 CEUs.
• Be sure to attend as many live sessions as you can over the 3 days to earn all 10.5 CEUs.

Attending recorded sessions

• If you want to earn maximum CEUs for the Symposium, you'll need to view recordings of some sessions (the ones you couldn't attend live) after the event.
• As an attendee, you'll have access to recordings of ALL symposium sessions for 30 days after the event. Take that time to view all the sessions you missed during the live event.
• We'll send you a link with instructions for accessing the recordings after the close of the Symposium.

Getting your CEU certificates:

• To receive your certificates, you'll need to create a login on the platform where we'll host the recordings. (We'll send you that link after the Symposium.)
• You'll then have 30 days to view any/all recorded sessions from the Symposium.
• After 30 days, we'll confirm which sessions you attended in their entirety (either live or recorded) and issue your certificates.
• CEU certificates will be emailed to you by the end of October.

Earning CEUs

• Per NAB requirements, you can only earn credits for sessions you attend live during the event.
• Be sure to attend as many live sessions as you can over the 3 days to earn all 10.5 CEUs.
• You'll have access to recorded sessions after the event, but they won't count toward CEUs.

Access to recordings

• As an attendee, you'll have access to recordings of ALL symposium sessions for 30 days after the event. (Again, recorded sessions won't count for CEUs.)
• We'll send you a link with instructions for accessing the recordings after the close of the Symposium.

Getting your CEU certificates:

• After the Symposium, we'll confirm which live sessions you attended in their entirety during the Symposium and issue your certificates.
• CEU certificates will be emailed to you by the end of October.
