SimpleMDS requires no changes to your current clinical software. Simply continue to generate MDS assessments as usual, then log into the SimpleMDS website to submit the assessments to CMS. Upload single or multiple batches with the click of a button, and SimpleMDS manages the transmission process, resubmits batches automatically when necessary, and retrieves the initial feedback report and final validation report. All reports are stored online and available for review at your convenience from any facility and by any authorized individual.

SimpleMDS is organized to quickly direct you to the information you need. Transmission reports, provider reports, and QI/QM reports are automatically retrieved, archived, and managed by SimpleMDS. Rejected batches, batches with errors, and duplicate batches are color coded for easy identification. CASPER reports can be viewed or printed with the click of a button. Specific QI/QM and provider reports can be searched using various filters such as report date, report type, report title, or facility name.

SimpleMDS is a HIPAA-compliant, web-based solution using state-of-the-art encryption and security technology to ensure resident privacy. Because it is web-hosted, there is no hardware or software to purchase.
With SimpleMDS, there is no need to be located at a physical facility to access reports and information. Each user is provided a unique login and password, and security settings can be configured to allow access to a single facility or multiple facilities as appropriate. This flexibility also eliminates the need to distribute multiple copies of reports via mail, email and fax.
